Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Flour

food safety

On March 30, 2023, the CDC announced a new outbreak of Salmonella illnesses, which has been traced back to flour sold by General Mills. So far, the tainted flour has sickened at least 12 people in 11 different states. The true number of illnesses is likely much higher because most Salmonella illness goes unreported. There are many safeguards in place to prevent contaminations so we are concerned that this outbreak was due to negligence.

Product liability cases can be a complex and challenging legal matter. It can be difficult to determine who is at fault for the injury, whether it was due to a defect in the product, a failure to warn of the dangers, or simply negligence on the part of the manufacturer or distributor.

Our firm has a successful track record in handling product liability cases, and we have the resources and knowledge to investigate and pursue your claim. We understand the financial, physical, and emotional impact that a Salmonella illness can have on your life, and we are here to provide guidance and support through the legal process.
