Bayer, the world’s largest seed and pesticide manufacturer, has agreed to pay more than $10 billion to settle upwards of 100,000 claims that its weed killer, Roundup, causes cancer.

Full details of the potential settlement are available on MarketWatch.com.

What This Means for You

Bayer is setting a significant portion of the settlement proceeds aside for future cases, which means if you have been affected by this dangerous product, there is still time to seek legal action. Information as to how long the window for lawsuits will remain open is not yet available, but we expect it to be narrow.

If you or someone you know has used Roundup and been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, we encourage you to protect your right to legal recourse and contact us at once.

Our attorneys at Rourke & Blumenthal would be honored by the opportunity to discuss your claim with you during a free consultation. We can help you determine the viability of your case within Bayer’s settlement program and pursue a claim, if appropriate.
