Mike Rourke is pleased to announce that Rourke & Blumenthal is a 2021 sponsor of the Leaders for Justice Series, hosted by the Law and Leadership Institute (LLI).
The first event in this four-part series is focused on tackling difficult conversations around race and how to work toward creating a more equitable work environment for all. The series also will address racial justice issues in the educational pipeline, in the justice system, and in the corporate environment. Rourke & Blumenthal is committed to creating concrete steps that advance the cause of racial justice and create fundamental fairness and opportunities for success.
LLI prepares students from underserved communities for post-secondary and professional success by supplementing a student’s regular school program. The four-year intensive academic enrichment program focuses on leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, writing skills, and professionalism. In total, students spend 700 hours over the course of their four years in high school exploring opportunities they might not otherwise experience. The lawyers and staff at Rourke and Blumenthal are confident that by supporting this worthy cause, they will help create meaningful opportunities for historically marginalized students.
